Skin smoothing here is face-aware and limited by design — it detects your eyes, eyebrows, nose, mouth, and ears and excludes them from the smoothing effect, and the strength is capped to stay natural rather than airbrushed. Does background blur work on any photo?
Background blur uses on-device AI subject detection, which works best on portraits with one clear subject reasonably separated from the background — similar to the technology behind our AI Background Remover. Complex or busy scenes may blur less precisely.
