Analyze keyword usage, density, and top keywords in your content.
Understanding how often your keywords appear in your content is a small part of SEO. Keyword Density Checker analyzes your text to show word frequency, keyword density percentages, and top keywords — entirely in your browser, nothing sent anywhere.
Paste your content, optionally enter a target keyword, and click Analyze. The tool shows your content's overall statistics, your target keyword's density (if provided), and the most-used keywords in your text.
What's a good keyword density?
There's no universal 'correct' keyword density — it depends on your content, audience, and search intent. Writing for humans first, and using keywords naturally, is more important than hitting a specific percentage.
Why does my keyword not show a result?
Make sure the keyword appears as a standalone word or complete phrase in your text. Partial matches (e.g., 'car' inside 'carpet') are not counted.
Does this work with multi-word phrases?
Yes. Type your phrase exactly as you want it counted — 'web design' will count that phrase as a single target, not 'web' and 'design' separately.
