Why does skin smoothing sometimes look uneven without Face Enhancement on?
Without Face Enhancement, smoothing applies evenly across the whole image, including backgrounds and clothing. Turning it on limits smoothing to detected skin specifically, which usually looks more natural on portraits.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No — both the AI face detection and all image processing run entirely inside your browser. Your photo is never sent to a server.
